Delivering On Our Vision, Showcasing Our Success

Over the last two years, I’ve shared with you the vision and strategy for McAfee’s product portfolio and Security Connected framework.  At my keynote today at McAfee’s FOCUS 13 Conference, we’re showcasing a number of areas of innovations where McAfee is leading development of best-in-class security technology, and providing organizations real business value through Data Center, Management, Network and System solutions.

Since FOCUS12, McAfee made investments and acquisitions in the network security space with the acquisition of next generation firewall leader StoneSoft and investments in NS Series Sensors, DLP Cloud Service Protection, Single Sign On, ClickProtect, Java Anti-Malware Engine, and Endpoint Integrity Agent. Leading the phalanx of new solutions at FOCUS is our Advanced Threat Defense offering, which allows organizations to “Find, Freeze, and Fix” advanced malware threats. Innovative analysis technologies work together quickly and accurately to detect today’s sophisticated threats across multiple protocols. Integration with McAfee network solutions freezes the threat from infecting additional devices. Unlike stand-alone sandboxing products, McAfee Advanced Threat Defense layers full static code analysis on top of an advanced dynamic analysis engine for more cost effective, efficient and accurate detection.

August 2013 saw the release of McAfee Data Center Security Suite for Server, which provides complete visibility to all workloads in hybrid data centers so enterprises can securely expand into any cloud environment.
