SC Magazine Readers Select Intel Security as Winner of Email Security

We are honored to be recognized as the “Best Email Security Solution” in the Reader Trust Award category at the 2015 SC Magazine Awards. The announcement was made Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at the SC Awards Gala held at the InterContinental Hotel in San Francisco, CA.

Targeted phishing is a pervasive concern, and McAfee Email Protection combats targeted phishing attacks and advanced malware, while preventing data exfiltration (compliance and data privacy). And as more and more businesses consider moving their email infrastructure to the cloud, we are enabling them to take that same enterprise-grade security with them, to secure their hosted mailboxes.

Each year, hundreds of products are entered in the Reader Trust Award category. Each product is judged by a panel representing a cross-section of SC Magazine readership, which is comprised of large, medium and small enterprises from all major vertical markets including financial services, healthcare, government, retail, education and other sectors. Entrants are narrowed down to a select group of finalists before undergoing a rigorous final judging process to determine the winner in each category.

“The Reader Trust Award is unique because it represents the voice of the people who are using these products and services every day,” said Illena Armstrong, vice president, editorial, SC Magazine. “McAfee Email Protection was chosen as the Email Security winner for its ability to meet and exceed the needs of its customers.” Read more about what SC Magazine reads have to say here.
