With all the great sessions and events taking place this year at RSA, we thought it would be helpful to give a rundown of what attendees can expect from McAfee at the show – from sessions and keynotes to book signings, our very first Tweetup, and even an iPad2 giveaway. Be sure to stop by McAfee booth #1117, and follow us on Twitter at @IntelSec_Biz for live updates from the event.
Key McAfee Sessions
The McAfee team will be covering most of these key sessions live on Twitter, and you can follow along by watching our RSA 2012 Live Tweeters list on the @IntelSec_Biz feed. If you plan on attending any of these events, feel free to chime in with your own updates and observations – we’ll be tagging all of our tweets with the session ID hashtags listed below.

Security Connected Game at RSA
One of the more fun activities we’re taking on at RSA is building a model of our Security Connected environment – entirely out of Lego blocks! Even more exciting, attendees will be able to guess how many Legos were used in the model for a chance to win an iPad2.
To win at RSA: Watch a McAfee demo or theatre presentation, then visit the board at RSA and guess how many blocks are in the model.
- Submit your guess by 1:30pm on Thursday for a chance to win.
- To win the grand prize (an iPad2!) you MUST be an RSA attendee, and guess the actual number or closest to the actual number of blocks without going over the true amount.
To win virtually: If you can’t make it to RSA this year, don’t fret – there’s still an opportunity for you to win a prize (TBD). On Thursday, the last day of the show, we’ll give our @IntelSec_Biz Twitter community a chance to win. We’ll tweet out a picture of the #SecurityLegos model to give our followers a chance to guess the number of blocks. Reply with your guess to @IntelSec_Biz using the #SecurityLegos hashtag by noon (12pm PT) on Thursday to enter.
We’ll announce both our winners (in-person and virtual) at 2pm PT on Thursday!
Raffle Prizes at RSA
Kindles, iPad Nanos, and other exciting prizes. Must be present to win.
- If you enter our in-person game to guess the number of blocks in the model (instructions above), you are automatically entered into our raffle drum of random prizes.
- If you don’t get a chance to play our in-person game, you can still be entered in the raffle by tweeting a picture of yourself with the model using the #SecurityLegos hashtag. Tweeters MUST use the #SecurityLegos hashtag, be in the picture, and be a conference attendee for a chance to win. Entries must be sent on or before Thursday, March 1st at 1:30pm PT.
RSA 2012 is building up to be an exciting event, so be sure to follow @IntelSec_Biz for updates before, during and after the show!
