Registration for FOCUS 16 is now open.
More than three thousand security professionals, 90+ technical breakout sessions, inspiring keynotes, and endless carafes of coffee; this was FOCUS 15.
The 8th Annual Intel Security FOCUS Conference went out with a bang during the last week of October. Throughout the conference, attendees heard from Intel Security partners and customers about their successes navigating the threat defense lifecycle. SVP and GM Chris Young introduced what’s new and next for Intel Security. Malcolm Gladwell encouraged us all to adopt a sense of urgency, in order to truly win in cybersecurity. And that’s not even the half of it.
Breakout Sessions & Expo Hall
This year at FOCUS, we had 13 separate tracks covering a range of topics from Securing the Internet of Things to Advanced Threat Research and Intelligence Sharing. Conference attendees chose from more than 90 technical breakout sessions, customizing schedules in the conference mobile app around areas of interest as well as specific company pain points. Our Expo Hall was also buzzing throughout the conference — from Turbo Talks and the Innovation Fair to product demos galore, knowledge sharing was in full effect between Intel Security partners and attendees alike.

Keynotes This year’s keynotes were unlike any others. With participation from our partners and valued customers, each morning was filled with rich use cases and live demos. Renowned author Malcolm Gladwell was the honored guest speaker, while SVP and GM of Intel Security Group, Chris Young, Brian Dye, Corporate VP of Intel Security Group, and Steve Grobman, CTO of Intel Security Group rounded out the group. Attendees were abuzz with excitement around Malcolm Gladwell’s keynote speech at FOCUS 15. The New York Times bestselling author provided a fresh and meaningful perspective on the world of cybersecurity, which left the audience with quotes to save and share.
