Announcing the New McAfee SecurityAlliance Partner Enablement Framework

Over the course of this year we have made strides in enhancing the partner enablement experience.  We have brought more value to the Continuing Education experience by allowing you to earn credits for engaging with McAfee. We have also reduced the certification time and allow you to choose courseware that is relevant to your business. And now I am excited to announce the McAfee Partner Enablement Framework, your path to success.

Our new approach to enablement will provide you with the tools and resources you need to build a successful McAfee security practice.

This new methodology means we will provide a prescriptive and repeatable approach for partners to easily follow in order to become trusted advisors to your customers and prospects.

Let’s take a closer look at three distinct phases of this new program: Plan, Learn, and Execute.


To get started, we’ll give you all of the market intelligence, product overviews, competitive landscapes, and value propositions you need to determine whether or not a technology is a good fit for your business. From there, you can access a variety of “getting started” checklists with a step-by-step approach that will help your business become fully enabled around a particular technology or solution competency.


Once you have decided that an opportunity is a good fit for your business, we encourage you to take advantage of training paths for your sales and technical teams to get up and running as quickly as possible. Much of the training is available online, through e-learning modules, but I encourage you to also look for local training events near you.


This last and final phase is all about execution. Now that you understand the market potential and your teams are trained, you are ready to take action. McAfee is dedicated to providing effective sales, marketing, and support tools to help your teams communicate your offering and capitalize on the opportunity.
